These are the terms and conditions for using the site.

Chapter 1 General Provisions

Article 1 Purpose

The purpose of these Terms of Use is to stipulate the conditions and procedures for using the services provided by Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery Clinic (hereinafter referred to as 'the Clinic'), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Clinic and the users.

Article 2 Effect and Amendment of Terms

(1) These Terms shall become effective upon being disclosed to the users.
(2) The Clinic may amend these Terms in the event of a change in circumstances or for important business reasons, and the amended Terms shall become effective in the same manner as the preceding paragraph.

Article 3 Rules Outside the Terms

Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by the provisions of relevant laws and regulations.

Chapter 2 Membership Registration and Service Use

Article 1 Definition of Member

A member refers to a general individual deemed suitable by the Clinic who has agreed to these Terms, filled out the service registration form, and received an 'ID' and 'Password'.

Article 2 Establishment of Service Registration

(1) Service registration is established by the Clinic's acceptance of the user's application and the user's agreement to the contents of these Terms.
(2) Those who wish to register as a member and use the service must provide the personal information requested by the Clinic.
(3) If the Clinic accepts the user's registration application, the Clinic will notify the user of the member ID and other details deemed necessary by the Clinic.
(4) The ID entered at the time of registration cannot be changed, and only one ID is issued per person.
(5) The Clinic will not accept registration applications that fall under any of the following subparagraphs:
A. When applying using someone else's name
B. When not applying with one's real name
C. When falsely entering the contents of the registration application form
D. When applying for the purpose of undermining social well-being, order, or good morals

Article 3 Service Use and Limitations

(1) As a general rule, the service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, unless there is a special operational or technical hindrance to the Clinic.
(2) The service hours in the preceding paragraph may be restricted after prior notice to members if necessary for the Clinic, such as for regular system maintenance.
(3) Among the services, online consultation may not be available 24 hours a day depending on the personal circumstances of the responding staff.

Article 4 Service Fees

(1) The service is available free of charge to all registered members.
(2) If the Clinic converts the service to a paid service, the timing, policy, and costs of the conversion must be announced on the service prior to implementation.

Chapter 3 Service Withdrawal, Re-registration, and Use Restriction

Article 1 Service Withdrawal

(1) If a member wishes to withdraw from the service, the member must directly request cancellation from the administrator via email.
(2) When applying for withdrawal, if you provide your name, resident registration number, ID, phone number, and reason for cancellation to verify your identity, the registration will be canceled after confirming that it matches the registration records.
(3) Withdrawal is confirmed when you can no longer log in with your existing ID and password.

Article 2 Service Re-registration

(1) If a user who has withdrawn from the service under Article 1 wishes to re-register, the member must directly request re-registration from the administrator via email.
(2) When requesting re-registration, re-registration will be processed if you provide your name, resident registration number, ID, and phone number to verify your identity.
(3) Re-registration is confirmed when you can log in with your existing ID and password.

Article 3 Restriction on Service Use

The Clinic may terminate the use contract without prior notice or suspend the use of the service for a specified period if a member commits any of the following acts:
A. Acts contrary to public order and good morals
B. Acts related to criminal behavior
C. Planning or executing the use of the service for the purpose of undermining national or social public interests
D. Stealing another person's ID and password
E. Damaging the reputation of or causing disadvantage to others
F. Double registration by the same user with a different ID
G. Hindering sound use, such as causing harm to the service
H. Other cases that violate relevant laws or the conditions of use set by the Clinic

Chapter 4 Limitation of Liability Regarding Services

Article 1 Online Consultation

(1) The Clinic makes every effort to maintain security so that the consultation contents of service members or users are not leaked to third parties other than the consulting doctor and service administrator. However, the Clinic is not responsible for the disclosure or loss of consultation contents in the following cases:
A. When consultation contents are disclosed due to the user's negligence in leaking their password
B. When the user deletes the consultation using the 'Delete' function
C. When consultation contents are disclosed or lost due to natural disasters or other circumstances beyond the Clinic's control
(2) For comprehensive and appropriate answers to the consultations requested by members, the staff in charge may refer to the consultation contents and answers.
(3) The contents of consultations conducted in the service may be used for the following purposes after deleting personal information:
A. Academic activities
B. Publishing activities such as printed materials and CD-ROMs
C. Part of service contents such as FAQs and recommended consultations
(4) The answers to consultations are subjective responses based on the knowledge of each staff member and do not represent the service opinions of the Clinic.
(5) In the case of applying for the following consultations, all or part of the online consultation may not be provided:
A. Repeatedly applying for consultations with the same content
B. Applying for a consultation using expressions that defy common sense

Article 2 Information Service

(1) The contents provided in the service are outlined and general, and are provided for informational purposes only. The information or consultation provided in the service can never replace a medical diagnosis. The information or consultation provided in the service is by no means intended to replace medical diagnosis, care, or treatment. If you have any questions or concerns about your health condition, you must visit an actual medical specialist for a diagnosis. Under no circumstances should you ignore a doctor's diagnosis or delay receiving diagnosis, care, or treatment because of the information provided in the service.
(2) The Clinic does not recommend any specific tests, products, or treatments mentioned in the service. All opinions expressed in the service are those of the respective consulting doctor. The Clinic is not responsible for the contents of any documents or consultations provided in the service.
(3) Accepting the information of this service, the opinions of medical specialists participating in the service, or other members or visitors using the service is entirely at the user's discretion. Therefore, the Clinic is not responsible for any damages, injuries, or other disadvantages arising from the use of any products, information, ideas, or instructions provided to members.

Chapter 5 Obligations

Article 1 Obligations of the Company

(1) The Clinic shall allow members to use the service unless there are special circumstances.
(2) The Clinic is obligated to provide services continuously and stably as stipulated in these Terms and Conditions.
(3) The Clinic shall appropriately process opinions raised by members through prescribed procedures, and if processing takes a certain period, it must inform the member of the reason and processing schedule.

Article 2 Obligations for Member Information Security

(1) The member is responsible for all management of their ID and password.
(2) The member agrees to receive service emails sent as part of the service.
(3) If their ID is used illegally, the member must notify the Clinic of this fact.
(4) The Clinic does not sell or provide personally identifiable information to third parties unrelated to the Clinic without the prior consent of the member or user. However, the Clinic may use voluntarily provided registered information in the following cases:
A. When providing developers with information necessary to develop new features, information, and services useful to members.
B. When providing advertisers with statistical information (which never reveals individual member identities) about service members and user groups.
C. When used by the company to implement advertisements or services based on member and user preferences.
(5) Personally identifiable information (user name, ID, e-mail address, etc.) may be voluntarily disclosed in communication spaces such as bulletin boards (hereinafter referred to as communication spaces). In such cases, the disclosed information may be collected, associated, and used by third parties, and you may receive unwanted messages from third parties. Such actions by third parties cannot be controlled by the Clinic. Therefore, the Clinic makes no guarantees regarding the possibility of member information being discovered through methods beyond the Clinic's control.
(6) The Clinic may use Cookie technology for the convenience of using the service. A Cookie is a small text file used by a website to identify returning users and help provide continuous access and personalized services to the user. Generally, Cookies work by assigning a unique number to the user that is meaningless outside the site that assigned the Cookie. Cookies do not invade the user's system and are not dangerous to the user's files. The Clinic cannot prevent advertisers or related third parties of the service from using Cookies. If a member or user does not want information collected using Cookies, they can adjust whether to accept Cookies in their web browser. However, the use of Cookies may be necessary for the service (especially personalized information) to function properly.
(7) The Clinic may mutually provide/utilize member information between the service or the company and business partners.

Chapter 6 Dispute Resolution

(1) Disputes regarding all matters related to service use arising except as stipulated in these Terms of Use shall be resolved by mutual agreement to the fullest extent possible.
(2) If a lawsuit is filed regarding a dispute arising from the use of the service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the company shall be the competent court.

Addendum

These Terms and Conditions shall take effect on October 6, 2020.
