Not just big eyes, but eyes with beautiful lines
"Revision surgery must be more precise than the first. A revision that fails to pinpoint the exact cause will lead to another revision."
— Chief Director Choi Dong-il
Eye revision surgery can be performed after the scars from the primary surgery have healed, swelling has subsided, and the double eyelid line has completely settled. This period usually takes 6 months to 1 yearto complete. However, recovery from swelling and scarring varies by individual, and if the results immediately after surgery are poor, revision within 2~3 weeksmay be necessary, so it is advisable to determine the timing after sufficient consultation and examination with a specialist. Especially for early correction, only highly experienced plastic surgeons can handle various situations.

Many delay revision despite needing it due to fear from previous surgical failure. Especially with the incisional method, patients worry about worsening existing scars, but the incisional method does not necessarily leave severe scars. At Gangnam Seoyeon, the chief surgeon with extensive clinical experience and know-how in eye revision surgery personally handles the entire process from consultation to aftercare, delivering safe and satisfactory results without worrying about scars.
We increase satisfaction through 1:1 consultations that pinpoint the exact cause of the previous results.
We minimize scarring through delicate suturing and minimizing tissue damage.
Performed using the most suitable method according to individual eye conditions.
After creating a new double eyelid crease, the skin between the new and existing crease is excisedand adhesions are released to form a single line when the eyes are closed. The thickness and height of the double eyelid can be adjusted.
A method of creating a new line while releasing the existing line without excising it. The existing line gradually fades over time. Usually when eyelid skin is insufficient, it is performed.
A case of lowering a thick, sausage-like crease. Includes the appearance right after stitch removal.

Occurs due to weak line fixation or inappropriate methods that did not consider the eye tissue condition. Unnecessary muscle and fat are removed, and double eyelid surgery or ptosis correction is used to recreate the line.

Asymmetry can occur due to incorrect line placement or failing to account for different eye-opening strengths. It is possible to correct only one side to the desired height, but depending on the cause, revision on both sidesmay be necessary.

Caused by skin sagging after surgery or setting the line too low initially. Lifting and fixing the sagging skinor creating a higher line.

Mainly occurs when fat is not adequately removed or the design is set too high initially. By releasing the line, removing fat, and creating a new lineto improve it.
